17 euros day pass. Boulder only gym on upper level with cafe downstairs (smells pretty good) and a gear store. There are locker rooms that needs self bring lock. Parking is a bit difficult on weekend, have to circle a couple of times to find a spot in free parking garage. Italian grocery next door is interesting to visit.
Went in to climb (bring my shoes when I travel). The place was well kept, most gyms I find chalk everywhere. The staff was friendly and spoke English well. After signing wavers I was off.
Day pass was 11euro they let me pay later and even combine with food / drinks.
The gym was great. I was / am a bit out of shape due to summer travel. I started immediately hitting as many routes as possible to warm up (after light band workout) then immediately went for red and above. I was only able to flash most of the reds (some required 2 goes and one particular slope climb took me several) but ran out of gas when working some blacks and purples. So unfortunately all my reviews are for red and below. The black and purple ones I looked at were also set well and I felt very doable if I hadn’t climbed for 2 hours on everything else.
The folks climbing were friendly (love the climbing culture) I gave a good amount of tips to a young man working on some reds. He was also interested in a few other climbs I did.
After climbing I went to the workout zone and did. just a few no hangs to give me that extra pump.
Then considering it was 30+ outside I decided to hang out in the AC and have lunch. They had an IPA on tap (I normally don’t drink on climb days because of dehydration) but I gave that a go. Then I ordered the veggie burger and a coffee.
The food portion size was very large. Definitely took me a bit to down the food. The fries were good. Lots of nibs that were crispy and cooked well. I like that. The burger was big and had good amount of flavor. The only complaint I have is that it was a bit sweet. It might have been the carrot purée or maybe something else. But it was definitely a sweet flavor.
The coffee was also good. They were working those machines most of the day seems rather popular to have coffee and climb.
They asked if I would return and I would love to come back however I don’t know when I’ll visit Nice again. But since I travel with shoes there is also a chance.
Great place and decent food. Super friendly staff.
Only other thing would be to have ketchup available.
Boulder was great so 5 stars for sure. I would give burger 4 stars, it was good, but considering the price, could have been better.
We had lunch here twice. The food is seasonal and very fresh. Portions are generous, and service comes with a smile.
Very nice climbing gym! It as is own equipment shop and the staff has some very good advices to give (especially for shoes).
Highly recommended!
Nice climbing gym! Friendly staff, good cafe downstairs. Prices are quite affordable with year passes.
Very nice place to boulder! Good routes! There is air conditioning, so it's not too hot inside during summer. Prices are good also, especially during happy hours. Highly recommend it!
We go regularly and it is a great climbing gym. Very friendly staff, good atmosphere, other visitors also friendly and courteous to each other, easy parking near to the entrance (and free). Also a good restaurant there. They also change the holds regularly too which is very good.
